RATANAPURI, Nepal, March 20 (UPI) -- "Buddha Boy," the 16-year-old who went missing after spending 10 months meditating in a forest in Nepal, met followers and then went back into hiding.
Ram Bomjan, who followers say is the reincarnation of Lord Buddha, born in Nepal 2,500 years ago, mysteriously left his perch in the Ratanapuri forest earlier this month.
The BBC reports he allegedly meditated in the forest for 10 months, including fasting, but it has not been confirmed.
Bed Bahadur Lama, the head of Bomjan's followers, said he reappeared Sunday about two miles southwest of his previous meditation site.
