Do you vote? You should, and your vote COUNTS!

Many years ago when I first started The Black Vault, I was unable to vote. I was fifteen years old, and was researching U.S. Government secrets quite heavily. I wanted to get politically involved, watched the elections, but could not take part in them. Even Senator Dianne Feinstein assisted me with a problem at the CIA, and she was a fantastic help, even though I was not old enough to even vote for her. Well, the day I turned 18, I registered to vote and have done so ever since.

Of course, Sen. Feinstein got my vote every time, and I realized in the Bush/Gore election in 2000, that every vote counts! And yes, that means yours!

I have created this page in hopes that you too will get motivated to get involved. This election in 2004 is important, and each party (depending upon your morals, values and interests) needs your vote!

The Black Vault is planning on staying a non-partisan push to get more people (targetting those young ones like me, of course!) to vote! I have teamed up with Rock The Vote to get you registered and ready to take part in the election.

It's free to do so, and I want to give my HIGH recommendation that you do. I was motivated to make this push because I was amazed that with a little bit of research, you can see the amazing stats and information out there supporting or showing the lack thereof for either candidate, and its NEVER ON THE NEWS!

A lot of this material is never on the news... you do have to get involved and read, and you will realize sometimes how the news truly can be biased. For example, I was reading the official GOP website (yes, ok, I am a republican) and found an overwhelming amount of evidence that the other candidate for presidency in the past 10 years has an overwhelming record of changing is mind (Yes, I am talking about John Kerry) Now, in all fairness, I checked out the Democatic Party site as well, and was not so equally impressed.

This is why our country is so important. YOU Have this power to elect, and YOU have this power to research. Your vote counts - don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Each time, I help support putting Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) in office because of your strong will, her determination, and for her help long ago. I am proud to cast my vote not only as a whole, but for her because she has earned it.

So my closing advice... VOTE! Register for that candidate who may not know it, but who has helped you in some way -- directly, or indirectly. You can register right here, at The Black Vault!
