The Real Reason The US Tortures People.
The top experts agree that torture doesn't produce any useful information.
And the experts on national security agree that torture turns people against us, creates actual terrorists who want to kill us, and makes us less safe. Torture also makes it almost certain that our troops will be tortured by others.
But the U.S. has embarked on a coordinated policy of torture since 9/11. The U.S. has rounded up scores of innocent farmers and other civilians -- including children -- in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere and tortured them until they died, went crazy, or were disabled.
Why?
If torture doesn't do anything useful, and instead does alot of harmful things like dramatically weakening our national security and putting our troops in harms way, why are we doing it?
Well, listen to the testimony to Congress by a representative of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services:

Indeed, this is a well-known tactic for brutal regimes. Take Zimbabwe, for example:
"Victims and eyewitnesses told Human Rights Watch that [Zimbabwe’s brutal regime] has set up detention centers . . . to round up and instill fear in suspected political opponents."
Torture is a form of terrorism, plain and simple. As the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services director told Congress:

The U.S. government is carrying out acts of terrorism on innocent victims - including children - in order to scare people into being compliant, into being too scared to demand their rights to liberty and justice guaranteed by the rule of law, into not challenging the powers-that-be.
Those who created, implemented or covered up the U.S. torture policy are not only war criminals, they are also terrorists.
Note: The torture in foreign countries is intended to intimidate not only people in those countries, but also Americans living in the U.S. Simply put, torture in Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo and elsewhere is intended to send the message that everyone -- within the U.S. and abroad -- better do what the American government tells them to do.

I fully agree with this assessment of the US governments reasoning concerning torture. It's ment to Shut You Up! So far it's been very effective, I can't believe we are the same nation that not long ago wanted a President impeached for a sexual act. While the current regime committs one major crime after another with impunity. The land of the free home of the brave is no more. We more closely resemble the land of the intimidated, devided and duped. Our national character, and reputation forever soiled. It won't be long before these draconian methods are openly used on our own population in masse. The Treason we are seeing openly displayed crosses party lines. As the Demopublicans have shown no will to carry out the mandates of the American people that put them in a position to stop these on going war crimes. They continue to give this regime a pass, and even continue to fund these attacks against our national heritage and the World. Are the American people going to wait untill it is our own sons and daughters, fathers and mothers being tortured before we stand against these criminals ? I pray we as a people have more good sense and courage then that. |

No I don't support that position. I don't intend to standbye untill Americans are being rounded up and imprisoned in the camps being prepared as we speak. |

Not for nothing CG, but you guys have been screaming bloody murder for years now, and I have yet to see when we will start the revolution to stop this nazi Government from destroying our country.
If we are in such dyer straights than why haven't you been silenced yet ?
Why are you not in some concentration camp ,being tortured. The timeline on this NWO takeover seems to be extended every couple of years. For a Government that has all this power to do what it wants,why haven't they done it yet ?
We have more and more people on this planet every day, we keep growing bigger ,and bigger. Why hasn't the Government taken us out yet before it's too late ?

I don't see how you can really believe what you have written above Bloodstone. Surely you can see the incrimental changes being made in our national laws, and character. How many television show's now openly portray torture as a normal tool of police procedure ? Our government is using known torture methods used by some of the most brutal regimes of history. Hilter's rise to power did not come overnight, it took years.
Perhaps you support torture for those deamed to be terrorist. I ask you do you also support torture as a method to be used on desenting American citizens ? Regardless of you support, our national law's are now being alined for that very thing.
I don't think we as a people have the luxery of waiting untill the NWO plays it's final hand. By the time they are rounding up Americans in mass, we will be very limited in our options. We must turn this all around before we have our loved one's being picked up by gestapo type units. I believe we can still turn this around peacefully, which should be a priority for all Americans that wish to preserve thier heritage. |

Seriously dude it ain't happening. After this election our Government will be even more under the microscope than it ever has. With two horrible choices for us, I'll be suprised if either candidate will ever get anything passed.
This Government is not capable of pulling off a NWO scenario, they are so incompetent that they can barely get laws passed . you think they are gonna start rounding up all Americans for mass executions? come on man, are you hearing yourself?
I'm really curious if you people even leave you're houses anymore. aren't you safer curled up on you're basement floor, have you started to build you're underground railroad yet ?
This country may have two sides right now, but you could damn make sure if the Government was really trying to do this, both sides would come together and overthrow that Government.
So go take a deep breath, count to ten ,take a walk in the park,or go for a ride.Look around you, things are not so scairey.

Hmmm, you always got to make it personal don't you.
Bloodstone, I am as normal a guy as you know. I am not in some panic or deluted state. And my blood pressure is below normal for men my age.
My conclusions and opinions are built on years of research and observations. You yourself have pointed out that we have been posting matieral of an alarming nature for years now. None of which was in error, as you seem to imply. This has been going on for years, and members of both parties are envolved.
You correctly point out the ineptness of most government agencies. However, they do manage to fail forward in thier efforts in many instances. We are loosing our freedoms and our country in inches, and sentences.
The NWO must be stopped now ! While they do not have all of our laws inline with thier draconian methods. If we wait and see......as you apparently believe our course of action should be. We will loose important ground in protecting our future and heritage.
It's far more effective to stop a crime in progress, then it is to investigate it after the fact.
Besides Bloodstone you approach this discussion as if these concerns were inventions of the imaginations of myself and others.

Today Senator Kinicinich will present 53 articles of impeachment before the house.
Do you really believe all of these articles are groundless accusations ?

The topic article is a political hit piece that has very little truth in it. I'd say it was written by a political hack. The references to "innocent farmers and children" being detained and tortured indicates that the author supports terrorism and hates freedom.
The sad thing is that there are people who buy what the author is peddeling. |

I agree the article is written with a certain amount of bias. However, that shouldn't blunt the points it make's that are based in fact.
You show no shame in your obvious bias Okiejack. You clearly believe all methods of crimes against humanity are justified in the name of American freedom. Which is an absolute outrage, and completely contrary to traditional American values.
In anycase that is not the point I am interested in, anyway.
I have one question for you Okiejack, do you believe that no international or national laws have been broken by this administration ? |

That alone would tell me impeachment is not a good idea. All we are doing is wasting more of OUR money so these idiots on both sides can get more power,and money.
I just don't trust the pandering on both sides. I say we need to clean out the fat. Get in the new blood ,and hope we pay attention this time.We need a Government for "WE THE PEOPLE" I just don't see that happening in my life time.
