NY judge wants CIA to reveal 'torture' documents

August 18, 2008
NEW YORK - A judge ordered the CIA to prepare a list of witnesses and documents relating to the destruction of videotapes of detainee interrogations.
Judge Alvin Hellerstein says he is growing impatient with delays to resolving requests by the American Civil Liberties U.nion for the information.
The judge says he will order production of a list of witnesses and documents unless the Central Intelligence Agency can convince him it will interfere with a criminal probe. He gave the agency 10 days to do so.
A criminal probe is under way into why the CIA destroyed videotapes in 2005 that were made to document new harsh questioning techniques.
The ACLU said the destruction violated Hellerstein's 2004 order to the CIA to preserve all records pertaining to the treatment of detainees. |

I say we just get rid of the CIA. They have never done anything good for this country and they screw up countries around the world.
Don't do drugs, you may be supporting your local corrupt CIA. Weed, of course, is the exception if you grow it yourself. The CIA prefers to deal in crack, coke, heroin, LSD, etc. |

Name one good thing the CIA has ever done for the US.
As far as dealing drugs, we all know about that one. They just didn't stop after the Iran/Contra affair, contrary to the propaganda the government "catapults".
