A new video which features popular talk show host Oprah Winfrey denying Jesus as the only way to God has received over 5 million views on several reporting video sites.
During the video, viewers are shown a clip of a previous show where Oprah blatantly denies Jesus as the only way to God. "How can there be only one way to heaven or to God?" Oprah asked the audience. When asked by a woman in the audience, "What about Jesus?" Oprah responded, "What about Jesus? There couldn't possibly be one way."

Maybe she has opened her eyes a bit and learned something through all these years on tv.
If more people thought like this atleast the world would be better and more tolerate. |

I watched this video and what she says is true. If people live by good moral standing and find other ways to tune into God, instead of being holier than thou, they don't have to believe in Jesus to get to God. The lady in the audience is so upset about someone "dissing" Jesus. It is funny to me. Oprah states that regardless of whether you are a Christian, Buddist, Muslim, Jew, whatever, that you are all praying to the same god, you just call it different things. But their are so many people so quick to judge because,"My religion can't possibly be wrong, so everyone else has to be", that they miss the point she is trying to make. This is why I hate religion. Something that is supposed to make you a better person, breeds hate and intolerance and pride to a point where someone will kill you because they believe their God would allow them to. Religion is a death/hate cult. They can't wait to die and be saved and they don't care who they take down in God's name, but it's isn't in God's name, it's just an excuse to further their personal vendettas.
Oprah was brave to make the statement, knowing that many groups would shun her for saying what needed to be said. |

I don't know? How many prophecies have you fulfilled? Jesus fulfilled more than three hundred. Verified by numerous eyewitnesses.
Have you been executed, buried, and then raised yourself from the dead three days later? That also has to be verified by at least five hundred eyewitnesses.
Did you ascend bodily into heaven in the view of a thousand eyewitnesses?
Or are you just a blowhard that likes to hear himself talk and can't back up any of his claims? That would be my guess. |

Perhaps he can back his claims up. Perhaps with "eyewitness" accounts as represented in some fantastic work of fiction handed down form on high by an imaginary god.

Well, let's be fair, he doesn't necessarily have to have done or ahchieved any of those things, he just needs a book or some words which says he did.
Then he's about even. |

Let's be real fair...if any way is good and gets the job done, any of these ways would hardly be in disagreement, even Christ...provided these ways worked. Because of this, even if it were a fantasy and all this is hypothetical, theoretically, they wouldn't disagree w/ Christ, provided he was correct.
Any two of the ways that agree as good and support the asserted conclusion, say Christ's for example, would support the assertion; and at least three ways would be successful. This is basic Greek logic taught in academia....very hard to discount. ....Provided any of these ways did concur to formulate two true precedents in support of a purported conclusion....
Now, will someone please find a lie that the mythical Jesus Christ said?
Will someone please find a lie that the mythical Buddha has said?
Will someone please find a lie that Ghandi has said? |
