Finally going after the right country...
And all you naysayers should probably hold your tongues. Syria has never been one to sit down and take an attack on it's soil, unless they are guilty.
Which they are. |

You can't just go around bombing countries and killing thier citizens. The very same morons that aprove of such insanity, would howl like histarical banshee's if the same was done to America. But what the hell I guess when you have already cimmitted war crime after war crime what does it matter.
It's all quite clear now, we had the war on drugs, now the streets are full of new and more addictive drugs then ever. We had the war on ill-literacy, and now people read less then they ever have in our history. Everytime the government declares war on something we get more of it!
With actions like this, it's only a matter of time before we get swarmed by virgin hunters all looking to take as many Americans with them as possible. |

This isn’t going to end well for the rest of the world.
Other that that C.G you should declare a war on Intelligence so the U.S can stop going to war witch they can’t win. |

Top delusional heads in government finally decided to stop pussyfooting with what Americans on the ground and Iraqis have known for YEARS.
Kind of sad it took this long, really. |

It's OK with me...just as long as it's okay with you that any foreign nation can perpetrate an attack on US soil provided they are trying to get the guy that they consider bad....provided they seek permission first...with the understanding that they are going to do it anyways even if the US doesn't give permission. |

Why is Bin Laden suddenly important again? |

Kind of a silly question but I'm sure it's rhetorical anyway. But Bin Laden never lost importance and that's why he continues to come up in conversations--though apparently not regularly enough to satisfy your definition of "important."
Bin Laden is the figurehead, mastermind, and leader of a very large and problematic movement to destroy the US by any means necessary... even if it means simply outlasting us in a numbers game over a period of decades--brainwashing and indoctrinating children to hate the US from the time they learn to speak.
Bin Laden the physical entity is not near as important as what he represents; he's an icon of the anti-US movement and to capture him would be a huge blow to the global terrorist "community" at least from a demoralization standpoint.
It is probably predicted though, that if Bin Laden goes down it will inspire many more after him who otherwise might not have been inspired. If powerful enough people in government believe that, maybe they are working behind the scenes to foil any efforts to find Bin Laden. In fact, if that were the case, it would play out exactly like it has. The gov't would not be able to publicly announce "defeat" by saying they believe Bin Laden is worth less alive and free than imprisoned or killed. So, instead the gov't would say publicly they are after Bin Laden but in reality feel just the opposite.
What the government should be doing (assuming they want him dead) is setting up an assassination by another terrorist group like (militant) Hamas. Then just sit back and watch as they destroy each other. |

Well said.
The US government are making it more difficult for themselves to get there forces out of afghanistan and iraq, although that being said it's becoming more clear that there intentions have nothing to do with leaving.
Now that these cross border attacks on pakistan and syria are becoming more of a regular occurance its only a matter of time before another war breaks out.
The US and its allies need to get out of the middle east while they still can, the russians fought for 9 years and still couldn't manage to defeat the mujahideen resistance in afghanistan, what makes anyone think that the US can defeat them not only in one country but in two? |

Good!
More US servicemen and women ( ) will be dispatched from this earth, and heaps more will be physically and mentally invalidated.
Stupid gits!
They aren't fighting for anything I think is worthwhile to the planet as a whole. They're just contract killers and hired thugs for a corrupt and fascist (corporate) government ruled by a shadowy cabal.
The sooner the US is neutered the sooner the planet can breathe a sigh of relief.
* The funny thing is that the stoopid Yanks will probably be dealt with by American-made weapons - sold to the enemy by 'Israeli' go-betweens.
Die misguided scum! |

It’s not just the yanks dieing though is it.
I find it quite funny (not haha funny, but odd funny) that the government can find billions to bale out a privet company (a very capitalist thing to do) while our armed forces go under funded.

I do agree though the quicker the U.S fall apart, the better it will be for the rest of the world in general.
And your post isn’t going to go down well with some members on this board. |

The gullible Yanks (those which are gullible) have gradually become a coalition of one.
Or are you including the Tanzanian Marines or their equivalent of the British SAS? I wonder if Trinidad is 'fighting' alongside those disposable US kids in uniform?
My post won't go down well with people I have nothing in common with.
Looks like the S is HTF about right now. I know you're in England, but watch your back. |

Israel has had recent talks with Syria, and I wonder if this type of raid was an item "on the table". If so, it must have involved some arm-twisting.
This is another of an endless series of idiotic, asinine, moronic actions of how the US, et.al., create their own worst enemies.
Notice the U.S. never attacks a country that can defend itself. It sounds like a cowardly bunch of leaders to me. They always want and seem to need enemies for the U.S. And no, I do not "hate America." I do dislike, however, leaders who are war profiteers with no conscience.
I wish someone would ask Sarah Palin and the rest of the rabid anti-choice evangelical Rethuglicans why it's okay to kill children after they're fully developed, breathing, and out of the womb -- as long as their parents are from a different religion and from a developing country.
Not a word about the 1,000,000 Iraqi refugees that Syria is taking care of. The US is responsible for a humanitarian crisis of massive proportions, yet all it does is kill more people. |
